Who We Serve

T.C. Porter Co.
Our nonprofit division, T.C. Porter Co., is collecting nonperishable unopened food, paper goods, and personal items. Trash Can Porter short-term rental customers receive a large plastic bin and grocery bags with a list of accepted items to fill and place in the bin near their trash cans, which we will pick up when we roll the cans out or roll them back. We are partnering with local organizations for distribution to community members in need. We also accept drop-off items on our porch at 127 NW 18th Street, Oak Island. We also partner with VacationDonations.org, a national effort to reduce food and item waste in vacation rentals.
